Bill Cubitt
who was a founder member of Holt Rugby Football Club in
1961, died on 13th November after a hip operation in The Norfolk
and Norwich Hospital. Bill was the first club captain and he over
the years committed himself to the rugby club he had helped to nurture
in it's infancy. He served a term as chairman and then as president,
the latter honour being well deserved. His support for the club
was second to none and up until shortly before his untimely death
had attended the early season games. The club has lost a tremendous
servant and he will never be forgotten or replaced. He set a tremendous
example in dedication to the club he loved
